DURABILITY

Air Quality

On March 2002, we installed an Opsis ambient air  quality monitor in the southern Philippine city of Cagayan De Oro.  For the past ten (10) years, the station has been operating 24 hours, seven days a week (24/7) and has been continuously providing air quality data to the environmental authorities, the Environmental Management Bureau Region 10 (EMB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).  The system has proven to be very suitable to hot, tropical conditions.  This rugged system has survived storms, scorching summers and floodings  during heavy tropical rains.  Aside from normal maintenance and replacement of consumables, no major problem(s) has been encountered.

Almost all semiconductor and hard disk manufacturers in the Philippines uses the Dionex Ion Chromatograph for Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).  This critical phase of production is entrusted to the reliability of Dionex Ion Chromatograph to determine its product quality and prevent rejection.  Many customers of their semicon plants specify Dionex  procedure as their method of choice for QA/QC of their ordered products.  The longest running Dionex Ion Chromatograph is twelve (12) years.  Electrobyte supports all Dionex installation in the Philippines in term of technical (hardware and software) and applications (standard use, method development, special applications).
